我们在幼儿年代学汉语拼音,开始学的是 bo (B) po (P) mo (M) fo (F)。先学的字母B, 原来是罗马字母ABCD里 的第二个, 也是希腊字母alpha, beta, gamma, delta里 的第二个, 也是希伯来文的alef, bet, gimel, dalet里的第二个。 字母表英文是alphabet, 与希腊文或希伯来文的头两个字母发音有关。我们汉语拼音以B开始,可是你们知道吗?圣经的头一个字母也是B(bet)(ב), 圣经的头一卷书创世纪的希伯来名叫Breisheet(在起初),也是以ב (B) 开始,犹太经典塔尔木的头一卷的书名Brachot(祝福们)也是以ב (B) 开始。连塔尔木每本书的页数也以以ב (B, 第二页) 开始计算。 汉语拼音以B开始的原因,我猜是因为那是头一个辅音字母。圣经和犹太经典以ב (B)第二个字母 开始的原因,不知有没有是因为造物主自己才能算是第一,而书是被造物, 所以书的开始只能算第二。 这个字母ב 读Bet 或Beit。他(ב)长得像一个空位,和Bayit(בית) 房子的读音很像。 读过圣经的人在不知不觉中读过这个字母很多次。很多地名与Bayit(בית) 房子有关, 中文音译成“伯”。 例如: 伯利恒=Beit lechem בית לחם=面包房, 是大卫和弥赛亚出生的地方。 伯特利=Beit El=House of G-d , 是雅各梦见天梯的地方。 伯达尼=Beit Oniah… Continue reading (创01)第二个字母

我小时候很喜欢几何,听说用圆规和直尺不能把一个任意角在有限次分成三等分,就试了很多方法,当然还是失败了。 几何作图有局限。人认识造物主也有局限。即使是旧约最大的先知摩西也是这样。造物主对他说,(出埃及记33:20)“你 不 能 看 见 我 的 面 , 因 为 人 见 我 的 面 不 能 存 活 。” 巧的是,这节经文在犹太人每年与造物主最亲近的两天都会读到。圣经里的节日与安息日是造物主设立让祂的选民与祂亲近的日子[1][2]。因为逾越节与住棚节都长达七天,所以很可能其中会有一天也正好是周末的安息日,所以这两个节日期间的安息日是我觉得与造物主特别亲近的时间,这有点像是夏至的正午,两个因素重叠,是每年日头最高,与太阳最近的时刻。即使是这样的时候,我们也没法完全理解造物主的作为,就像我们在夏至的正午也不能触摸到太阳那样。这样的限制实际上是对我们的保护,人太靠近太阳就会被烧毁,更何况是太靠近太阳的创造者呢? 怪不得,造物主在西奈山显现时,切切关照摩西: (出埃及记34:3 ) “谁 也 不 可 和 你 一 同 上 去 , 遍 山 都 不 可 有 人 , 在 山 根 也 不 可 叫 羊 群 牛 群… Continue reading (出33)今生的局限与应许
